At Property Tint, we stand behind the quality of our workmanship and materials.

All internal window film installations are covered by a 10 year warranty, while external window films include a 3 year warranty.
These warranties protect against discolouration, fading, and film lifting under normal conditions.

Optional Extended Protection ​​

For customers who want complete peace of mind, our Extended Protection Plan provides additional cover beyond the standard warranty, protecting against rare glass-related issues outside our control.

This additional cover includes protection for:

Extended Protection Terms & Conditions

​1. What’s Covered
​
Thermal Stress Damage
This protection applies to glass breakage caused specifically by thermal stress, resulting from temperature differences across the glass.
​
Window Seal Failure
Coverage is available for failed or blown window seals for up to five years from the original window installation date.
​​
2. Payments & Activation
​
Monthly Plan
Customers may activate ongoing protection via a £10 monthly payment, payable by direct debit to Property Tint. Setup is completed manually following installation.
​​
Single Payment Plan
A one-off payment of £100 provides two years of protection. Continued coverage after this period requires manual renewal.
Payments remain active until cancelled or the coverage term ends.

3. Cancellation & Renewal

Cancellation
You may cancel your monthly protection at any time without penalty. Written notice must be provided.
​
Renewals
Single-payment plans do not auto-renew. Customers must actively renew after the initial two-year term.​

4. Making a Claim
​
Thermal Stress Claims
Contact Property Tint with photographic or physical evidence of the damage. An inspection will be carried out to confirm the cause.
​
Window Seal Claims
Claims must be supported with proof of the original window installation date. Claims submitted without documentation cannot be accepted.

5. What’s Not Included
​

Damage caused by impact, misuse, or external force

Breakages not confirmed as thermal stress-related

Window seal issues occurring beyond five years from installation

6. Length of Cover

Monthly Plan
Protection continues indefinitely while payments remain active

Single Payment Plan
Protection lasts 24 months, with the option to renew

7. Liability Limits
​
Property Tint’s responsibility is limited to the repair or replacement of affected glass, subject to these terms.
We do not accept liability for indirect losses, including business interruption or loss of earnings.

8. General Information
​
These terms represent the full agreement between Property Tint and the customer.
We reserve the right to update or revise these terms, with any changes communicated in writing.
